PROGRAM STRUCTURE

The MS degree in Project Management is based on 30 credit hours load that includes completion of coursework and a choice of capstone or research thesis as follow:

  • Project Management Core Courses:6 Core courses (Total: 18 credit hours).
  • Electives:3 specialization courses / elective courses (Total: 9 credit hours).
  • Capstone:3-credit hour Capstone                                 OR
  • Research Thesis:For research students (Total: 6-credit hours)

 

ELIGIBILITY CRITERIA

  • 16 years of education in any discipline with 50% marks/CGPA 2.0from an HEC recognized university.
  • MAJU Entry Test/GAT General
  • Interview

DURATION

The standard duration of the program is 2 years comprising of 4 semesters. However, the duration to complete can vary based on the progress of the students. The minimum duration students can complete the requirements is 1.5 years (3 semesters). The maximum duration to complete MS in Project Management is 4 years.

DEGREE COMPLETION REQUIREMENTS

  •   Completion of 30 Credit Hours with thesis with a minimum CGPA 2.5 out of 4.00.

OR

  •   24 Credit Hours Course Work and 06 Credit Hours Thesis.

OR

  •   27 Credit Hours Course Work and 03 Credit Hours Capstone.

EXEMPTION OF PRIOR CREDITS

Wherever applicable and upon meeting the minimum quality requirements, students would be able to claim up to 50% exemptions of the relevant prior credits completed.
